Buy an Indonesian Data Bundle with a Foreign Card
Buy a data bundle for an Indonesian mobile number with a foreign card. Pick the operator, open the Data tab, enter the number, pay in euros, delivered usually within 1 minute.
A data bundle is not pulsa
Pulsa is a balance. You load an amount of rupiah onto a number and it is spent gradually on calls, SMS or data. A data bundle works differently. What you buy is an allowance with a validity, for example 3 GB for 30 days. The allowance attaches to the number and stays usable until it runs out or the validity ends.
Because a bundle is an allowance and not an amount of money, it has no rupiah face value. What you see before paying is the operator's own name for the package, its data volume, its validity and its price in euros.
Bundles sit on the same pages as pulsa. Open the Pulsa page and switch to the Paket Data tab.
Who this is for
- Travellers on a local SIM: your allowance runs out mid-trip and the local apps and minimarket counters reject the card in your wallet. Here the same card is accepted.
- Family topping up a relative: a parent, a sibling or a student can be sent data straight to their number, with no Indonesian bank account involved.
Both cases work the same way: enter the number, pay, done. No Indonesian bank account, e-wallet or phone number is needed.
Which operators we sell bundles for
How to buy a data bundle
-
Open the operator page
Pick the operator the number belongs to, then open the Paket Data tab. Not sure which operator it is? Check the operator guide first. -
Choose the bundle
Every card shows the operator's own package name, the data volume, the validity and the price in euros. -
Enter the mobile number
Type the full number and check it twice. A delivered bundle cannot be moved to another number. -
Pay
Pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, or Wero. Before payment we ask for your email address and send a one-time code to confirm it is yours. -
Delivered, with a confirmation email
The bundle goes straight to the number, usually within 1 minute, and the confirmation email lands in the address you just verified.
What the price includes
A data bundle is priced in euros, and that price is final. Every fee is already inside it and nothing is added at the payment step.
Unlike pulsa and PLN tokens, a bundle carries no rupiah face value, so there is no rupiah figure to compare. What decides its worth is the data volume and the validity, and both are printed on the bundle card before you buy.
Validity, activation and what to check first
- The validity starts on delivery: a 30 day bundle means 30 days from the moment it arrives, not from first use.
- The bundle attaches to one number: the allowance belongs to the number you entered and cannot be transferred.
- Check the operator of the number first: a Telkomsel bundle only works on a Telkomsel number. If you are unsure, the operator guide matches number prefixes to operators.
- The SIM has to be active: a bundle lands on a prepaid SIM that is still within its active period. If that period has expired, send pulsa first to extend it, then buy the bundle.
