Independence Day Gift: Send a PLN Token or Pulsa to Family in Indonesia

August 17, 2026 marks Indonesia's 81st Independence Day (HUT RI ke-81), eighty-one years since the proclamation of independence on 17 August 1945. In towns and neighborhoods across Indonesia, the day is typically filled with lomba (traditional games and friendly contests held in the streets), tirakatan (a communal evening of reflection and prayer the night before the 17th), and gatherings with neighbors or the local RT (the smallest unit of neighborhood administration).
