Fees and Security

We charge nothing extra for Wero payments. The price you see at checkout is the final price, in euros.

Every payment is confirmed inside your own banking app with biometrics or a PIN, so it is as secure as your mobile banking. Payments are processed by Pay.nl, a licensed European payment institution supervised by the Dutch central bank.

FAQ

Do I need a separate Wero app?
Usually not. At most banks Wero is built into the mobile banking app. Some banks use the separate Wero app, which is a free download.
How is Wero different from iDEAL?
iDEAL is the Dutch payment standard, Wero covers Belgium, Germany and France. They work similarly: you confirm the payment directly in your own banking environment.
My bank does not support Wero. What now?
You can still pay with iDEAL, Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. All methods are on the same checkout page.
