Extend Indonesian SIM Validity from Abroad
Keep an Indonesian number alive without buying credit. Pick the operator and a duration, pay with a foreign card, iDEAL or Wero, and the validity is extended, usually within 1 minute.
Why Validity Matters
An Indonesian prepaid number has two balances: credit (pulsa) and validity (masa aktif). When the validity runs out, the operator blocks the number, even with credit left on it. After the grace period the number can be recycled and handed to someone else, together with its WhatsApp account, bank OTP codes and every login tied to it.
A validity extension adds days to the SIM without buying credit or data. It suits a number you rarely use but cannot afford to lose.
Who It Is For
- You are leaving Indonesia for a while and want your SIM alive for the next trip.
- You live outside Indonesia and keep your Indonesian number for WhatsApp, mobile banking or OTP codes.
It works from anywhere. No Indonesian bank account, e-wallet or operator app is needed.
Operators and Durations
How to Extend
- Open the SIM validity page
Pick the operator, or just type the number: we recognise the operator from its prefix. - Choose a duration
Each option shows the number of days and its price in euro. - Pay
Pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, or Wero. Before you pay we ask for your email address and send a one-time code to confirm it. - Done
The validity is added to the number straight away, usually within 1 minute, and the confirmation arrives by email.
Good to Know
- Validity only. No credit and no data are added.
- Tri: the days do not add up, the new validity replaces the current one, so extend it when it is close to running out.
- Telkomsel: the total validity can be at most 360 days. An extension that would go past that is refused, and you are not charged or your payment is refunded.
- You can check the new expiry date in your operator's app or USSD menu. The operator does not send it to us, so it is not in the confirmation email.
